ministries

Dear Guest,
Reaching others with the love of God is a crucial part of our vision as a church.  We seize upon every opportunity that comes our way to shower this love on people.  Below you’ll find detailed examples of the different ways by which we serve others, both outside the church and within the church.

God Bless You,
Thrive Family Church

children’s ministry

We offer fun, creative and engaging children’s programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary age children.  We don’t just babysit your children, we teach them the Bible in relevant ways for their age level.

Little Sprouts | Babies, six weeks through two years.  Volunteers provide a safe and loving environment while caring for and teaching your little ones.

Big Sprouts | Two years old through five years old.  We provide your youngster an experience of a fun-filled and nurturing class time.  Bible lessons incorporate praise and worship, games, crafts, and puppets.  Classes are available for all services.

Thrive Kidz | First grade through sixth grade.  We offer a fun-filled experience beginning with
praise and worship. Children learn how to apply biblical truths to their everyday life with Bible stories, games and crafts.  Volunteers provide a safe, clean and fun atmosphere.

family fellowship sundays

We believe in the importance of spending quality time together as a church family.  It strengthens our relationships with each other.  The Bible refers to this as “breaking bread” together.

That’s why anytime there’s five Sundays in a month, we have what we call ‘Family Fellowship Sundays’ on the last Sunday of that month.  Immediately after the morning service, we hang out, enjoy a meal together, and generally just have a good time.

On this specific Sunday, we encourage our church members to dress casually, bring their favorite dish, and invite family, friends and co-workers.

workday ministry

One of the greatest opportunities that we have to get to know each other better is on church workday. Approximately once a month, the members of Thrive get together to take care of the property so that we always have a clean and well maintained facility for all to enjoy.

Our members often say that they enjoy workday the most out of everything that we do together as a family.  This work may include various projects outside, such as landscaping, and cleaning on the inside of the building.  We always have a wonderful time working alongside one another.

service teams ministry

We believe that all followers of Christ should experience the opportunity to learn and do the work of the ministry.  The words of the Bible become a reality to those who actively serve others.  At Thrive Family Church, we encourage members to get involved in their church and work alongside others to make a difference in peoples lives.  We provide many areas of service for volunteers.  Some examples are...
  • Ushers
  • Little Sprouts
  • Parking Attendant
  • Greeters
  • Audio
  • Thrive Kidz
  • Media
  • Worship
  • Big Sprouts

For God is not unjust.  He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.
– Hebrews 6:10 (NLT)

outreach ministry

Love for people is best expressed through actions.  For this reason, reaching those that come to our church, as well as those within our community and beyond is a core part of our vision.  What an honor to show people that Jesus loves them and that He provides for them.

We’ve also been able to make a difference in the lives of many who have come to our church seeking assistance, both through financial means as well as through prayer.  Below are examples of some of the outreaches our church has been a part of…
  • Gospel Rescue Mission
  • Overseas Missions
  • 4th of July
  • Tornado Disaster Relief
  • Harvest Family Fun Night
  • Christmas Dinner Baskets
  • Local School Support
